Rotorua PIA invites current, past and future property investors to an evening at the NZ Home Loans Office.
Come along and learn about short term accommodation, from all aspects of the activity. Our key guest speaker is James Rock from Vrbo which is one of the main short term accommodation online platforms where rental owners or managers can post their property listings and travelers can book their holiday property. James is going to cover information about their brand and a product update, market insights, traveler insights, traveler preference and booking trends, and how to attract the right travelers.
To round out the evening we also have a RPIA member talking about their experience setting up a short term accommodation rental and an accountant talking about the accounting and tax intricacies to be aware of when running short term accommodation. We are also hoping to secure a property manager to cover any management specific points around short term accommodation rentals.
This is going to be an informative night that is quite topical given Rotorua is a key tourist destination with current restrictions on commercial accommodation offerings and pressure in the residential market place.
