Jake Saathof, BOP Regional Manager for Cheal and Rotorua PIA member, will be speaking to us about the Rotorua District Plan.
Rotorua's District Plan is currently under review with a completion deadline for implementation March 2024. This change seeks to bring the District Plan into greater alignment with the Medium Density Residential Standards.
Density is the flavour of the month, so with any change, opportunities to develop will likely arise through smaller lot sizes, smaller yard setbacks and a possible reduction in parking required.
Jake will discuss changes, where he sees opportunities and provide a general overview of the subdivision process for those who have not embarked on one before.
